Registration schedule:
MS Registration is already FULL. Please send an e-mail (argylearcherytexas@gmail.com) to get on the wait list if you are still interested.
JRE's season will be contingent on coach availability. Please signup to coach and register for an upcoming session on 8/16 or 9/13: NASP® - National Archery In The Schools Program. No prior experience is necessary, and your class fee with be reimbursed.
To register:
Registration will be through AYSA/SportsEngine. Link will be posted as soon as available.
Limited spots are available. Please consider getting BAI certified if your archer is looking to participate. See "Become A Coach" under "Parent Info" tab of this website.
While we fall under AYSA, we also must follow NASP regulations, so be advised that the program is only open to Argyle ISD students, and only grades 4-12.
Fee requirement:
$150 per archer (includes a team shirt and State registration fee)
$40 – Equipment fee (if renting)
Following number of tournament participation is required and separate fees will be collected up front as below at the beginning of season via TeamSnap.
· $75 for HS - 5 tournaments + State
· $60 for MS - 4 tournaments + State
· $45 for Elementary - 3 tournaments + State
Practice dates/schedule:
9/15 New archers
9/29 All returning archers
Archers will be assigned one practice session with their school team each week and will be allowed to attend other sessions as availability exists. This will depend upon coaching availability. Any extra practice sessions will be available to sign up for on a weekly and first come/first served basis.
· Hilltop Elementary on Mondays at 6:00pm-6:45pm
· J. Ruestmann Elementary on TBD at 6:00pm-6:45pm
· Argyle South Elementary on TBD at 6:00pm-6:45pm
· Argyle West Elementary on TBD at 6:00pm-6:45pm
· Middle School on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays at 7:00pm-7:45pm
· High School will be Tuesdays at 8:00pm-8:45pm
Equipment:
EQUIPMENT RENTALS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR $40. New archers may be sharing in-class sets and we encourage any experienced archer to buy their own and allow new archers to rent.
IF YOU ARE A NEW ARCHER, please do not purchase your own until eye dominance is determined by our staff. If intending to purchase, archers can borrow equipment for free the first two weeks if not renting for the season, in order to determine if left or right bow is needed. State Tournament:
2026 NASP Texas State Tournament will be at Freeman Coliseum (3201 E Houston St., San Antonio, TX) in San Antonio on March 20 – 21st. More details to come.
3D Registration:
Our 3D program is an additional fee of $70 (includes State fee) and is open to Middle and High School archers only. 2025-2026 season teams will be selected with tryouts. (Existing 240+ archers as well as those recognized with advanced skills can anticipate being invited a few weeks into the Bullseye season.) Registration will open in October.
We are looking to add more coaches to our rosters as well, no archery experience needed. Please consider stepping in to help. We will train you and start you off slow until you are comfortable. Our program depends on 100% volunteers. You must individually register at NASPBAI.org. You can schedule any time/location that suits you. We will reimburse any registration fees paid with your completion certificate.
